About Ms. Krishnaveni Putrevu
Ms. Krishnaveni Putrevu, founder-director of Sri Kalamandir Dance Academy, has trained in the Indian Classical Odissi Dance genre pioneered by Padmashree Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra and Guru Deba Prasad, under the tutelage of Guru Nabakishore Mishra, in Orissa, India.
A graduate of the Lalit Kala Academy, Allahabad, India, she has delivered many award winning performances across India, North-America and Europe and has won significant critical acclaim.
Ms. Putrevu founded Sri Kalamandir Dance Academy in Dallas, Texas, in 2004, and lives in Irving, Texas, with her husband and two children.
